The Axiom includes a 17.7 × 17.7-inch folding chessboard and a complete set of silver- and copper-toned chess pieces. After use, the board folds in half to form its own storage case.

17.7-Inch Folding Chessboard

When open, the chessboard measures 17.7 × 17.7 inches (45 × 45 cm). The alternating light and dark squares provide a contrasting playing surface that makes the position of each piece easy to identify.

The board folds in half after use. Two brass-colored exterior clasps hold the case closed.

Silver- and Copper-Toned Electroplated Pieces

The two sides are identified by their contrasting finishes:

Silver-toned pieces
Copper-toned pieces

The pieces feature an electroplated finish and are mounted on weighted acrylic bases. The contrasting colors distinguish the opposing sides during play.

The queen measures approximately 3.5 inches (9 cm) high.

Integrated Interior Storage

The interior of the folding board contains an individually fitted space for each chess piece. This layout keeps the pieces separated and organized inside the closed board.
